Typhoon Samuel enters PAR - Update



Manila, Philippines - The tropical depression "Samuel" has entered Philippine Area of responsibility on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Philippine weather center said that Samuel enters PAR at 10 A.M. and spotted 980 kms. east of southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

The tropical depression packs maximum winds of up to 55 kms per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 65 kp/h. So far no warning signals had been raised but Samuel is expected to pass through Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA warned the residents of CARAGA, DAVAO Oriental and Compostela Valley of moderate to heavy rains that would bring floods and landslide.
