Tony Labrusca's Mother "It's sad that people love fake news and enjoy hating people that do well"

The actor Tony Labrusca issued an apology on Friday, January 4, over an alleged report that surfaced online he shouted an immigration officer at NAIA airport.

In a statement via Twitter account @tonythesharky, according to him, he admitted getting frustrated when he was only given 30 days to stay in the country.

"I was unaware of the policy that because I was not with my mother, I did not qualify foe a Balikbayan stamp, he said.

"It was very upsetting for me. And I'm sorry that somehow, I took my frustrations out on the officer. But never did I ever call anyone stupid, nor an idiot much less brag about being a celebrity. I know for a fact that the officer is merely doing her job. My biggest mistake perhaps was letting my emotion get the better of me and again, I'm sorry."

However, people reacts at Tony Labrusca's mother over the fake news tweet. The 40-year-old host/model beauty consultant Angel Labrusca tweeted, "It's sad that people love fake news and enjoy hating people that do well," she wrote to people who believed in fake news.

"You can tell a lot about a person based on the gossip they listen to and stories believe," she added.

The Bureau of Immigration had reminded people with Filipino lineage that there are limits to the so-called Balikbayan privileges.

Labrusca is the son of both Filipino actor Boom Labrusca and singer Angel Jones. he was born in Houston, Texas, United States but grew up in Los Angeles, California.
