Among the 200 couples who tied the knot in a mass wedding at the Bacolod City Gevernment Center is the seventy-four-year-old Ricardo Tomayao and his partner Glaiza Cosme, 29.

Their love story could mean unconditional as Tomayao told Sunstar, "She's sweet, a good person, and I love her," he said.
Tomayao is a mechanic and a former public jeepney driver when he saw Cosme collecting plastic or scrap, when she was 14. He helped to finish Cosme in highschool, "He's older than me, but age doesn't matter because he's a good man," Cosme told.
The mass wedding event is part of the city's activity evry February to give a free mass wedding in line with the Civil Registrar's offices observation of the National Registration Month.
