The boyfriend of the 19-year-old nursing student Ashley Abad who died from party drug ecstasy overdose has appeared before the Cebu City Police Office to clear his name.

Neil Spencer Tiu denied the allegations that he gave ecstasy to Abad on the night she collapsed. Tiu was accompanied by his parents and it was interviewed by the investigating team who were tasked to probe Abad's death.
Chief Superintendent Debold Sinas, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) denounce to reveal the names of personalities who will be charged over Abad's death, saying that they are on the last stage of the investigation.
