MRT-3, LRT-1 Offers Free Rides On Philippine Independence Day

To get free is life, even in just a single day. Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) and Light Rail Transit (LRT-1) will treat there customers with a free ride in celebration of the Philippine Independence Day, June 12.

The Department of Transport (DOTr) announced today that the MRT-3 will offer free rides to the
public.


The free rides will be available during peak hours from 7am to 9am and 7pm to 9pm, the same time LRT-1 will implement the free rides to there commuters.

This year's celebration will marked the 121st anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence since June 12, 1898.
