#ProtectVico trended on Twitter on Wednesday evening after the news broke-out over NBI's move to summon the Pasig city mayor for the violation of republic Act 11469 or the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
Dismayed netizens and celebrities has putting the hashtag #ProtectVico into the spotlight to expressed their support for the 29-year-old popular mayor. Majority of the complaint have been referred to Senator Koko Pimentel, who has recently received online backlash over the alleged breach of quarantine protocol.
It can be recalled that MMC has slammed Pimentel's actions as "reckless and irresponsible."
While the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said that it will also summon Senator Pimentel, people are calling to swap Vico Sotto for Senator Pimentel instead.
