Vico Sotto remembers late nanny with a touching Instagram post

Celebrity parents are just like us - busy on different schedules, and they often need help for their children. For that, they need a person who work for them, but assures that she's a hard-working, flexible and most of all caring person.

And that was Mayor Vico Sotto's  household helper whom he considered his second mother. Vico pays tribute to his late Yaya Emelinda "Emy" Flores as she celebrates her 61st birthday in heaven.  Yaya Emy was charged of caring him during his childhood, despite of busy schedule Vico never fails to pay respect to the woman who helped raised him.

On his Instagram account, Vico reposted a childhood collage photos of him being carried by Yaya Emy and other family photos with a words, "Happy Birthday."

The photo was originally posted on September September 18, 2016 - the day Yaya Emy died in her hometown in South Cotabato. He described his nanny as " “messenger, bodyguard, personal assistant, resident comedian, all-around repairman, kargador with rock hard muscles (seriously), with a tender heart."

"Never showed much emotion, but a pillar we all leaned on;

"Quietly celebrated with us in all our triumps, but was equally there in our moments of despair.

"My alarm clock until I was twenty-six;

"The one who made sure the back of my shirt was tucked in for every important occassion.

"A superhuman who pushed through fatigue, illness, and pain;

"Always going above and beyond the call of duty.

"THANK YOU EMY, for the four decades of selfless love you gave to Mama, Kuya LA, Ate Carla, and myself;

"EMY, I LOVE YOU, more than I ever let you know. We will miss you dearly," mayor Vico's touching message for Emy.
