The OPM icon Claire Dela Fuente's son revealed that before his mom passed away early Tuesday morning due to cardiac arrest, she was also tested positive for coronavirus. Her son Gigo told ABS-CBN News, revealing she also had comorbidities including diabetes, anxiety and hypertension.
“Earlier this morning, my mom Claire Dela Fuente died due to cardiac arrest. She was also COVID-19 positive,” he told.
Gigo also said that he, too, tested positive for coronavirus infection last week.
“I myself am COVID-positive but showing no symptoms that’s why I cannot be beside her. She was supposed to turn 64 this year,” she further said.
