Horrifying videos captured in different vaccination sites in the NCR showing people defying health protocols, rushed to get a shot for vaccine against the novel coronavirus. But many were sent home disappointed after vaccination sites reached the limit for the available shots.
Social media folks described it like an apocalypse scene as Las Piñas residents run to get in a vaccination site at SM South mall at around 2 A.M.

Despite the local gov’t prohibiting people from lining up outside jab sites during curfew hours, hundreds already showed up—many of them walk-ins.

Manila is placed under ECQ from August 6 to 20 as a new spike in COVID-19 infections detected. Officials say these could be due to the highly contiguous delta variant that threatens to overwhelm hospitals. ECQ means that only essential establishments and industries will be allowed to open.
