Hidilyn Diaz receives her brand-new gold Kia Stonic

 Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz finally received her brand new Kia Stonic 1.4 EX AT from Ayala Foundation and Kia Philippines. She became the Philippines' first-ever Olympic gold medal athletes that bring pride to the country. 

"The golden girl gets her golden car! Hidilyn Diaz takes her brand-new Kia Stonic for a test drive," Ayala Foundation Facebook post read.

Aside from her gold Kia Stonic, Diaz receives some of the early pledges projected to over P50-million.

Diaz won the historic gold at women's weightlifting 55kg class with a total score of 224kg, clearing 97kg in the snatch and 127kg in the clean and jerk.

“Thank you sa pag-recognize sa pagkapanalo ko. Thank you so much na na-appreciate ninyo yung nagawa ko para sa bansa,” said Diaz.

Since she won the gold, offers have been flooding which Bloomberg first reported that she was set to receives $660,000 of incentives, as well as a luxury $280,000 condo in Eastwood City from billionaire Andrew Lim Tan.
