Taylor Swift leads the best dress with a dripping in diamonds in the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor, 32, looked incredible in her sparkled silver chain dress during the red carpet.
The "All Too Well" singer complemented the look with her shoes had gems affixed to it as she pulled back her hair, of course, her signature red lips.
Swift in her speech announced to the crowd about her upcoming brand new album on October 21. She will be releasing more information at midnight.
“I’m so honored to have been recognized alongside such amazing artists and directors in this category,” Swift began on her speech. “I just want to say I’m so heartened by the fact that the first time in VMA history that four of the directors nominated in the Video Of The Year category are women.”
“You guys, I’m just so proud of what we made and I know with every second of this moment, we wouldn’t have been able to make this short film if it wasn’t for you, the fans. Because I wouldn’t be able to re-record my albums if it weren’t for you… You emboldened me to do that. I had sort of made up my mind that it might be a fun moment to tell you … my brand new album comes out October 21st. And I will tell you more at midnight," she continued.

Following the announcement, Swift took to Twitter to share some of the details about the project.
"Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life," she wrote.
"We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink untilthey speak back. We twist in out self-made cages and pray that we aren't-right thi minute-about to make some fateful life-altering mistakes."
The album is a 'collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams," she said.
