The nine-member OPM band Ben&Ben are making sure those practicing social distancing will feel a little less alone, by holding a virtual concert this coming Friday March 27 at 7p.m, to help raise fund for those affected by the coronavirus.
The online performance dubbed as "Puhon" is Ben&Ben's FB Live Concert which is expected to last an hour. The nine members will bring the concert experience into fan's homes.
Puhon! is a Cebuano word that means “hopefully.”
"In the time of COVID-19, we can only hope that something good will come at the end. This hope burns stronger every time we feel that we are not alone, and when we hear and share inspiring stories that fuel our passion to support those in need," the site said.
"Puhon! is an initiative that brings people together to combat COVID-19 in the Philippines by providing a timely and coordinated response to affected communities, and by building a network of courage and inspiration through stories and music," it added.
The proceeds from Ben&Ben online concert will be used to purchase personal protective equipment, nutrition support for frontliners, and relief goods for daily wage earners.
