Bacolod, Iloilo city close borders anew as coronavirus cases spike

Bacolod and Iloilo city closed their borders anew due to the continued increase of the COVID-19 cases in the Western Viasayas region.


The two borders between the two cities will be closed starting Monday, July 27. However, movements of goods and shipment of cargo will continue.

On Sunday, July 26, Negros Occidental is on the top five list that logged 66 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Western Visayas has a total of 1,092 confirmed cases, 466 are active cases, 610 have recovered and 16 fatalities.
