Actor Marco Neri was felt embarrassed after a supermarket head of security stopped him from leaving the store.

In a viral video that have since circulated on social media, Marco said that he was wrongly accused of stealing a product in one of the supermarket chain branches.

"Nagulat ako kanina nang sitahin ako nang head of security nang Puregold Putatan Muntinlupa at pagbintangan ako na may nilagay ako sa bag ko. Pero napatunayan ko na wala akong kinuha nabayaran ko ang item at may recibo pa ako nito," he said on the video.

The 60-year-old actor can be seen showing all the stuff inside his backpack to prove that he doesn't get any unpaid roll-on deodorant at the store.

According to him, he opened his bag to check the empty deodorant bottle if he bought the same product at the time.

"Ito, walang laman 'to," said Marco in the video as he explained to the lady security guard.

He even showed his newly-bought deodorant along with the receipt.

"Ito resibo o, tapos pinagkakamalan pa akong magnanakaw. Mali naman sila. 'di ba?," he said.

"Porket binuksan mo lang bag mo para kunin 'tong walang laman na deodorant. Para mabili mo itong isang deodorant, malamnmo kung ano 'yung binili mo," he added.

Meanwhile, Puregold on Tuesday acknowledged the incident and apologized to 'Tatay'.
"Mga ka-Puregold, we saw and heard it all.
"Sorry. We really feel bad para kay Tatay (loudly crying emoji) and how this situation was handled.
